Kufo
Kufo Matolino Melo Raposo was born in May 19th, 1988, in Chókwè district. He started studying in 1995 and studied at many different schools until he finished the 7th grade. He is now 16 years old and attending grade 10 at Chókwè's Secondary School. He lives with his parents and 4 brothers. He enjoys housework and playing football with friends. One day he was called to go to CRIC (Rural Center for Infants in Chókwè) and was invited to be part of the photography course.
"I was told about this project by my uncle whom I would like to thank. I would also like to thank my teachers Blake and Marcílio. My dream was to become a photographer or journalist and, thanks to my teachers, I know how to take photographs. I promise to never give up taking photographs because I enjoy it very much."
